Everything that exists has energy which vibrates with its environment.  This vibration emits a rainbow of colors and tones in a multitude of forms. Whether it is with tubes of oil paints or with a mound of clay, this becomes my starting block. 

I strive to capture the intersection of my existence with nature. My work emulating that which I see and feel through time spent on walks in the woods or in the garden with my hands touching the earth. I am drawn to the power of nature and the textures and tones that can be found within natural wonders. 

My work, which has included oils, graphite, ceramics and mixed media, has been exhibited locally and in galleries from New York City and beyond since 1985. My recent focus has been in regional galleries and venues in the Tompkins County area of upstate New York, in both individual and group shows.  I aim to exhibit annually with a focus on oil paintings; the art form that pumps through my veins the loudest.
